Everyone’s Environment Grants
Round three is offering $5 million to assist eligible local groups across Queensland.
Applications for round three close on 15 August 2014.
Community and school based groups, landcare and conservation organisations, and research institutions can apply for up to $100,000 through this round of the program.
Applications are considered for projects which will undertake on-ground activities to help rejuvenate the environment in priority areas—in three different streams, including conservation, heritage and research.
The conservation stream aims to help threatened species through habitat and species protection, environmental education. It also encourages projects which promote and link habitats in urban settings. The heritage stream aims to help deliver conservation and understanding of our state’s built heritage and historic shipwrecks. The new research stream aims to improve the understanding of the key threats to priority threatened species, or determine the effectiveness of management techniques.
